Hey guys, Yesterday after doing the monthly inspection on the eb for oil level, coolent level and plug and lead check i found that when i took the waterpump out i had accidentaly loosened a bolt that went into the head, and in the mist of getting new radiator hoses when i was doing it fogot to do it up propaly. i found the oil had been leaking somthing cronic, where i park my car out the front of my house other people from next door park too and there already was a huge oil patch there before i started parking there and took no notice of it.

After driving around tuesday night i pulled into my court turned the music down so i didnt wake everybody in the court and noticed a clicking sound coming from the motor as i accelerated and even when the car was at idol.

I took it to my mate who is a second year mechanic and toped it up with oil and the clicking is still there. He said the only way to get rid of it is either get some lifter quitener or re adjust the tappets only thing stopping us from doing that is i dont have the torque specs for the tappets.

Could anybody with a eb repair manual or knows the torque specs please list them here,or sugest a way to quiten them. it would be greatly appriciated.

-Nick

My guess is they were starved with oil and will come good again in the next few days.
