fuel cost wont be an issue cause im going into an industry that i will have a fuel card he he he

Are there any tuning companys that ford will accept their mods?? i know holden will accept STARR performance and CSV as my dads munro was modded by starr (330kw) and he had his warranty still as the work was done before pick up frm the dealer!!! also my cousin just purchased an SS 6.0l gen4 and built it up at csv still with holdens warranty intact!!! if i can find a good one i post up a pic as im sure many of you will be suprised at the number of mods HOLDEN allowed him to do!!! especcially the ride height!

I'll agree with fnp on that one. I have a friend with a BA F6 Typhoon, and all he did was wind up the boost, get an edit and change the exhaust to make 450rwhp. I think you would have to do a lot more than that, and it would cost a bit more if you tried to extract the that power from the 5.4 motor.

ooooo makes me wanna get one now. what kind of note does it give out when you get a different exhaust because i was told that the one on it is better than any aftermarket one. i do like the turbo roar and wheesing sound it makes when its spooling. do all the f6's have the big brakes?

if youre buying a very early Typhoon, watch out for issues with the twin-plate clutch (if youre getting a manual)

nah the twin plate (shared with ford GT :D ) had a minor issue (cant remember wat it is). it was fixed in the later models.

most of the early ones were fixed, but id go for a mk2 BA anyway

the clutch problem were the retainer clips holding the centre plate, they wouldn't hold under heavy load.

they should have been fixed by dealers under warranty as they were all recalled.
