THEY ARE: Flat Top Pistons Adjustable Timing Gear Shaved Head Ported and Polished Head Harder Value Springs Dastech Unichip C (Engine Control Unit) Wouldnt be to hard to search for these things, but anyway Flat top pistons - pistons with a flat top. Normally the top surface of a piston is dished. Having a flat top raises the compression ratio. Adjustable timing gear - A gear for the cam shaft that can be advanced or retarded relative to the crank. Basically, lets you change the cam timing to move the power band of the engine up or down to some extent. Shaved head - Machine the surface of the head. Is done either to raise the compression ratio or to make the head flat if it is warped Ported and polished head - Head that has had the ports (where the air goes in and out) made bigger. Helps more air get in at high rpm Harder valve springs - literally bigger valve springs. These are what pull the valves closed and are needed when you have a bigger cam to make sure the valves dont hit the pistons. Unichip - computer that allows the engine to be retuned

Flat Top Pistons = higher compression ratio=more power
Adjustable Timing Gear = you can fine tune your cam timing to get it spot on, plus 99% of the time, the cam and even the cam chain drive gear/keyway on the crankshaft arent precisely in the right position, which can mean that even though it appears in the right spot, the cam may be a couple of degrees out from its ideal position Shaved Head =increased compression ratio due to a smaller combustion chamber, also used to get a true flat surface for the head gasket to seal against if the head is warped slightly Ported and Polished Head =increasing the size and shape of intake and exhaust ports, as well as smoothing out the dags and rouch patches that would create unwanted turbulence. the easier it is for the air/fuel mixture to make it into the cylinder, the more will go in, and the more power you can make Harder Value Springs = give better control of the valve action when a more agressive cam than stock is used, at high RPM's some aggressive cams will slam the valve open at such a rate that weaker valves springs wont be able to close them fast enough...... Dastech Unichip C (Engine Control Unit) unichip= plug in computer "chip" that is programmed to change the factory ECU settings to match either new parts, or to tune the engine
