Ok guys. TO bring u up to date with ym car. I got the EF GLi from a mate for 1800$. It had a slight front end nudge. It came with a new front bar but the guy i got it from was too lasy to put it on.

So today when i was bored i pulled the old one off and put my new one on. When i did this i checked to see if the chassis was twisted or bent in any was since the bonnet lock had moved back and the bonnet was bent.

I found that there is a bit of metal that has been spot welded to the car that mounts the lock (stock) and this has been bent. So ill fix that up with a screw driver.

Now that my new front bar is on it looks a bit odd having a White car with a grey (primer) bumper.

What i was thinking i could do is:
1 - paint it a dark grey so it makes people look twice at the car.

2 - Get some acrylic paint (white) and paint that on using a air compressor. Then polish it to make it shine good.

3 - Go get a few cans of car touch up paint the same colour as the car and paint the whole thing with that.

What do u guys think is the best. As i am 16 and only getting about $240 a week from working which about 80$ goes to fuel (girlfriend 35km one way, school 15km one way, work 20k 1 way) and a average of 14.5L/100Km i cant afford to get it professionaly done.

-Ben

id try painting it with acrylic if you know how. just remember that preperation is just as important if not more than the actually painting.
use proper plastic primer or it will peel
