i am looking at getting either a cappa supercharger or a Dev5 kit. wat r ur thoughts??
the supercharger will probly give me more power but the Dev5 kit is good for econamy.
if i get the Dev5 would it be a bad idea to fit a supercharger on it later??
thanks.

why not turbo? are very good on economy when you dont thrash the crap out of it, but very hard not too.. :) most turbo car are very fuel miserly when driven normally, just when you give her some they chew the juice a fair bit

go the DEV 5 kit for the moment. a supercharger would give a good gain but you gotta remember the strain on ya driveline also. the turbo is a good idea. i was gonna get a dev kit for my xr but they are a bit pricey... if its a daily driver, dev 5 kit, if its only a weekend car go for the supercharger

go the turbo. Probly just as cheap in long run, nice power :D and when ur daily driving aslong as u dont hammer it down u will get pretty good fuel efficiency. Correct me if im wrong any1, does a turbo not recycle fuel fumes? so u dont use that much more fuel

i rebuilt a motor and similar to a dev 5, [used dev 5 cam], and now regret not going supercharged. Would have been a better option with moe opitunities down the track to do more. It will also be more drivable with similar power.
