G'day guys,
I have just bought a 1999 XHII XR8 5spd ute and i was Just wondering what spark plugs everyone is running in there EFI 5L Windsors, and any reccomendations. Cheers Jeff

Not gonna make much of a difference.. You can either get the ordinary NGK spark plugs and change them every 10,000km or you can get iridiums. Iridiums won't do much, but will stop you having to change plugs all the time.

yeah i just stick to the NGK plugs, or the ford motorcraft ones, actually like these ones better, but i am useing the NGK at the moment.
too much money for iridiums, and i would still wanna take them out and check/clean them anyways, so not much point IMO

Always been an NGK man. Used to run 1 heat range cooler with a butchered spark gap for the blower but returning to old faithful now

I am running "Splitfires", happy with them. Next time I'm going to try NGK's, (have used them in every other car/motorbike I have owned so far).

yeah u cant go wrong with nkg plugs... u can either get the normal plugs that will be fine, of u can fork out the dollars for iridiums. all in all u will prob not c any gain out of the iridiums. ind with a s**t load of high revving or some really s**t fuel i found they tend to get s**t really quick... so as for as that goes i wouldnt worry bout iridiums, unless ur trying to build a race car and u wanna get absolutely every advantage out there.
