I own a AU3 Futura on dedicated factory LPG, and I got talking to one of the GasResearch installer's and he suggested the following mods:

Bigger intake snorkel (I have fitted a BF GT snorkel to my car) and it make a bit of difference.

Drop in filter (K&N or Unifilter) I haven't done this one yet, it is next on the list.

Extractors and full exhuast - Again, I haven't done this oen yet either, it is down the road.

One I get all of this done, I will put it on a dyno and see what is has then.

Any morew info, PM me.

Hope this helps,

Holocaust

Same mods as a petrol engine really. Cept when choosing a camshaft go for LPG use not petrol. And instead of upgrading the petrol fuel system (pump, injectors, regulator, etc.) go the LPG system.

Change from fixed mixer ring to variable mixer ring setup ... will need a petrol throttle body ... and Impco variable mixer ring ... and may have to change to a manual valve body as well (get rid of factory closed loop stepper motor).

Not advisable though ... but it's up to you.

get a cam suited to LPG ... full exhaust system ... getting a set of extractors to miss the converter sufficiently is the difficult part.

Will mot likely have to move the converter up and forward to give room to fit even the Pacemaker PH4499 LPG extractors ... in doing so will need to replace the AU header tank with a BA one (also changing hoses over to accomodate this as well).

Also changing your intake pipe between the airbox and throttle body with a nice 3" mandrel bent pipe will also help.

But if you are after ultimate low-end torque ... a low-boost supercharger kit can be employed without needed a cooler ... but there are added costs (including a spike in insurance costs).
