a customer today was telling me his Egas BAII Wagon will do perth to esperance on a tank of fuel, and still have about 80km to empty... to fill costs him about $45-$50

my friend has an e-gas ba, they go alright, can still do standstills soo cant be to bad.

dont the egas ba/f's have a much taller diff in them?

I think they got more torque? and reach their max power at a lower rpm.

156kW @ 5000 rpm
374Nm @ 2750 rpm

AFAIK the max torque is reached earlier.
Was even earlier in the AUs as well.

The mixer ring is the top-end power restriction .. and this is need to be retained to run LPG at idle.

It was not designed for performance anyway ... it was designed for cheap running.

Only cost me $45 to drive direct to Melbourne from Sydney in the ute ... filled before I left Sydney ... and filled on the northern outskirts of Melbourne.

I feel for the poor bastards still using petrol.

Yeah i wish i had more power (still looking into it) ... but when you do more than 70,000km a year ... I save a hell of a lot of fuel costs.
