after seeing a few cars with this mod & the top finish on fordman351
fairmont ,i got this today ..hope to fit it in the next week or so ..
im thinking of getting it fitted to a xr6 bonnet ..if i can find 1 ..lol..

don't put it on an XR bonnet, go without vents.

IMO it will lok better on a Gli bonnet than it does on a Fairmont/XR bonnet.

i recon you should leave the vents out of it an just put it on your own bonnet, an whats the go with the ride on getting all the shelter but the ef's left out in the wether :)

yeah ..
the ride on gets shelter while my g/f,s xr6 & my ef sit out in the weather.
i need a shed for the cars real bad ...

(we have a carport but our cats sit on the cars when under there)
the xr6 just had a respray ,,so there safer out the back yard ..

im thinking no vents .thanx for the feed back . :wink:
cant find a xr bonnet anyway ..my g/f wont give up her's ..lol..

im the other wqay around... i think the bulge looks tough and sexy on the high series bonnets... is in the lifted part at the front keeps the bonnet bulge company while as not having the XR vents that could possibly make the bonnet look a lil "Busy" with a bulge added... but whatever floats your boat though.. starting to get mighty tempting this mod... :wink: :lol:

the cats & my g/f sons vl have the carport ...lol..
my car was getting marks on it from people cutting through the c/port. :evil:
the cats are cool ..untill the dog jumps up at em ... :x

i talked to my panel guy ..he'll start on this next week . :wink:
so if i havent found a xr bonnet by then its going on the base 1 ..
i also found a cool decal for it .
hope to get progress pics of the fitting too .

kut&shutkustomz: there's a fair bit of waste on that bulge you got. Are you going to trim that all back to the bulge (like what mine was)? Or are you going to try and blend it all in?

fordman351 ..the panel guy will trim it up a bit before fitting .. :)
i was surprized by the size ..a lot of waste .. :roll:

i had my uncle pic the scoop up for me ,,he drives a 2 door suzzi swift ..
it only just fitted ,luckily its a bit flexable ..lol..im still laughing about it .
BTW..i only paid $130.00 for it..from a guy hear in qld . :wink:
