What is it exactly that's killing the market for you all?
The price of fuel? The cost of living in general? I know if I was on the market LPG would play a HUGE factor for me, because we'd need a daily driver, being a family. I don't think we'd even look at a car that didn't have LPG. That, and it would save the mucking around of paying more money to have it fitted, which equates to the car being off the road. That, and the waiting list for installation is 6 months (well it was when we got ours done!) Since it's families you're targeting, I don't think you should have too much of a problem selling it (fingers crossed), but then again, Paul how long did it take for yours to go? Apologies for going OT. I wish you all the very best in your sale.

Mine took about 6 weeks i think, not that long considering all the cars that are on the market.
I only had 3 guys look at it, i could have sold to the first but by the time i rang him about his offer he'd purchased another car. People might pay $2k for a conversion, but you can't add $2k to the base price if it has LPG. I paid $700 for my DA LTD which is on LPG, i certainly wouldn't have paid $2700 for it just because it has LPG lol. I put my car on ebay and carsales, i had a lot of enquiries through ebay but no lookers, carsales was the one that sold for me and i'd recommend that over all others. Throw it on Cam, put your price on it and see how you go, it only costs you $10 and it stays there till it's sold. |
