ok a few problems for ya's i just brought some electric mirrors (thanx phongus) to install into a non electric mirror car and i cant find s**t all on them in any workshop manuel, which is my bloody power wire, as in which id the one that i connect to the battery to get these things to work?
problem 2: whilst fiddling about trying to thread these wires through under the dash, i got a little p****d off and sorta kinda forced the issue - bigish mistake, i riped out a wire from under the dash, whitch turned out i stuffed my horn, i cant find where this wire came from since i cant get under there, so i think i'll just run another circet to get my horn working again (unless i can find where the wire came from AND if i can get to it!) but which are the wires in the steering coloum that control the horn?. Argh help, i Hate electrics!!!

take the front off the steering wheel. You will be able to see the colour of the 2 wires your horn used. If there is 1 wire, u have ripped the other one out.
if theres 2 wires, 1 of which same colour as u ripped out, it has broken off about half way. If there is 2 wires, both different colour 2 the one u ripped out - im confused As for power mirrors, im not sure sorry, my power mirrors were on when I got the car. But dont worry, patience is not a virtue of mine either |

ur welcome GTFORDMAN. but sorry that i couldn't actually give u directions on how to wire it all up =(........im sure someone has done this conversion before?.......btw don't all falcons of the same series have the same wiring loom behind the dash? so if the GLi didn't have electric mirrors wouldn't there be existing wirings already behind the dash that are not in use?
