Woundering if someone would be able to help me out.
Need to change my timing cover gasket on my EF 4ltr Do you need to take the head off or can u get it out without? And wat else is involved so i know wat extra stuff i will need to get besides the gasket. cheers

nah you can leave the head on, but u will need to unbold the front of the sump from memory, be a prick of a job with engine in though maybe take radiator out.

take out ya thermos and radiator to give yaself some room... and you will need to unbolt the front of the sump and loosen all the bolts from front to rear progressively so as you can lower the front of the sump down... or take the motor out...
