i have an EL Fairmont which has the cut out in the bumper to put the cornering lamps in if you wish to. i was wondering if anyone has run some piping from the cornering lamp cut out to the airbox? obviously cut another hole in the front of the airbox or somewhere it will fit to mount the new piping. is it possible, has it been done and would it suck in a lot more air giving you more power?
Any feedback welcome.

ive got a fairmont (95) and had already done what you have described... works very well on cold night.. doesnt pick up much dirt at all... mayby a few extra insects but thats what the filter is there for anyhow.. .. can be done on the cheap... i had a 3inch thick rubber pipe running from where the cornering lamp usualy is.. running at a right angle up and through the bottom of the ef airbox.. firing cold air at the K&N panel air filter.. is a good backyard job.. and only cost is the price of the rubber piping... and your time...

did mine this week.
airbox mod and 3/1/2 tubing from new airbox connection to the driving light cutout in the bumper. put mesh behind to keep out leaves n crap etc.. does it suck??? yes!! rev up and put a piece of paper in front of thehole and watch it suck the paper to it and stick,so yes it sucks well.. cold nights in the last week and it seems to me likes its done its job. sorry havnt crawled under car and taken a pic of the piping to the bumper--yet.
