Wondering if anyone has or would know the cost of putting a BA type front onto a AU xr6... Any advice on who could be of assistance would be appreciated.

hmm.
Completely different front shape, different bonnet angle etc.
Sounds like it could be a pain in the a***. Plenty of places do strawberry conversions (s15 silvia front end on earlier models / 180sxes) so I'd assume you'd need to speak to a panel shop that does this sort of stuff.

Im assuming the AU and BA shells are very similar?

In that case it would be just like converting an EB/ED front into an EF/EL.. Which has been done also.

You need quarters, front bar, headlights, indicators, bonnet, radiator support and little bits and pieces.

Cheers

Check out aff, the dok did it to a smashed AU fairmont wagon, and another guy did it to an AU ute that had an engine fire and needed a new front. On an AU XR sedan though.. the front wouldn't match the rear.. it'd look a bit silly.
