hey guys hows it going? as you know i have the ba xr6 turbo. and only the other day i got myself a new updated intercooler, its also got a 3" exhaust with dump pipe and all, and a GFB stealth FX blow off valve.. now im guesssing it probably has around the 260-270 kilowatts mark (about the same as a phoon) anyway. i am looking at getting some more.. at a good price.. nothing to crazy like 300rwkw but ide say its got around 200ish now maybe 240 maybe a little more.. something with good power but it not going to blow my T5 gear box. but still have enough to be able to pass all the tossers on the road with a holden. what is an edit? whats involved whats a round about price and who has had it done before?? and where in melbourne is a good place to go??

You should have an easy 200wkws right now and with the edit it should hit 270 with the cooler and exhaust. Thats about the max on your standard injectors.

Edit is a flash unit that you buy and tuners can upload custom tunes on it to suit your car. Then you plug it into the OBDII port under the dash and upload the new program.

Talk to Nizpro or XTC, these guys are what seem to be the better VIC tuners at present.

Jump on fordxr6turbo and search for edit, heaps and heaps of info there

$990 with 3 generic tunes and later on if you want more kws a custom tune is around 500

all the usual pplaces nizpro in bayswater, horsepower factory in dandenong and blue power racing in campbellfield are all good tuners of the edit.
