youve only got some smart answers, because of the way you have asked your questions, and in the manner in which you have treated the members of this forum with great disrespect.

if you ask questions in a respectfull manner you will get a respectfull answer back.

are you EBV8's evil twin? you sure as post/talk like it... ... ask thing politely here and you will get answers but when you "CBF" doing something yourself especialy when your a newby doesnt get you off to a good start... but to answer your question- your better off leaving the box in for legal reasons and putting a K&N flat panel air filter in and installing a Tickford snorkel.. and rigging up a cold air intake from behind the front bumper and plumbing it up to the bottom of the airbox.. And if you have some kind of "Pod filter fettish" then you can still install a pod filter into the standard airbox..

a pod is a waste of time on a stock setup unless you want induction noise, ok?

ok then you asked nicely :)

from the second post in this thread
Quote:
noticable, but a pod is better in a airbox so it doesnt get hot engine air, sfa differance between pod and a good panel filter.
see i gave a good answer straight up.

i would not recomend removing the airbox, just plumb a pod filter into it. perhaps add in a bigger snorkle. if you head over to the tech doco forum there is a huge post on this matter at the moment. but there is little differance on a relitivly stock i6, between a k&n pod or k&n panel.
