Yes the insurance is taking care of it, no my premium has not gone up and their is no excess for me to pay.
My dad has decided to go for a wagon!!!! Were looking for one roughly 10k trough 17k to spend. Looking at carpoint and trading post also going to go to auctins Can anyone else advise me where i can look for these wagons?

i saw a ba wagon for for 16k at an auction, ex government, wiht 40,000ks on it
was a steal i thought. ex govt auctions are a very cheap way to buy a car.

Nothing i can do but beg... I mean my dad wants the tow bar, the barrier and the roof racks Low km's and nice price. What do you people think?

Seems like a good deal to me but I know next to nothing about buying cars. Only thing that really irks me is the km's. 92000 is only slightly above average for a four year old car but if you read closely most of those were done in its first year. If those 68000k's were mainly on long stretches of open road then there's probably little to worry about but if not then you may have to deal with problems caused by excessive wear later down the road. Given how rare Fairmont wagons are though it'll probbaly be difficult to find another in better condition...

I honestly wouldnt mind a wagon, just for the convenience of being able to throw the mountain bike etc in the back, and sleep in the back if need be. Would have to have rims and a kit though.

AU Fairmont Wagons are pretty rare. Have a good look over the car and if it all looks the goods go for it. We've seen a few with wheel bearing issues in the front end but thats a general AU thing and is mostly from people driving utes/company cars through water.
