Either a jaycar repsonse amp - or even look around eBay or trading post or the fordmods for sale section because there are a few amps for sale - i think even Daniel has two amps he wants to get rid of!!

Hello,
Another vote for Jaycar's Response range. As far as cheap power goes, these are the best new amps to buy. They have several models going from a 2x80 WRMS to a 4x100WRMS. There's even a 800WRMS class-D mono. The 2 x 150 WRMS amp Krytox pointed out would be good for the sub, it's 500 WRMS bridged. They have a 4 x 50 or 4 x 100 WRMS for the 6-inches depending on how much power they need. Or run them off another 2 x 150 WRMS as it's stable to 2 ohms. If you want to go a new amp, I haven't seen anything so far to beat these for the price. |
