ok so I pull up in the driveway, turn the car off pull on the handbrake as you do, normal right? then I noticed it..... my abs, oil and parkbrake lamp was on.... what the? strange just the 3 of them lit up on the dash by themselves... so started the car, everything fine... turn it off, there there again. put the handbrake off. that one went out at least.... well went for a drive a little while later and everything back to normal when I turned it off that time.... anyone had this before or is this just a weird happening????

might have had air in ur brake lines from the hand brake, which caused the abs module to report a fault, and say that there was low oil??? just a passing thought tho

cooki_monsta ure posting complete s**t and thats an understatement.
id say somehting may be a miss with ure bem (body electrics module) but im not sure on the au's if all thress of these signals go via the BEM or not. otherwise it could be as simple as a faulty instrument cluster, best way to try would be to borrow these frw things and give them a test. |

ABS faults are sent via the ABS ECU. But IIRC codes should only be sent when the key is in the "on" position

I don't have ABS in my AU1, but I am pretty the guy's just got his ignition in the on position, which is why the warning lights come on....
