Lol dude, read above the picture. It was just sitting there. Right now they are sitting in the back yard with their 2nd coat of clear. Is the cutting bit reallyyyyyy necessary?

if you want it to look like the rest of the car then yes, you will have to do a few coast of clear then wait til it cures and cut it back.

As said, leave for a few days, I leave for a week. You can fit them to the car when dry, just cut them when there on the car. |

Well I did it, but not after cutting my fingers twice with a stanely blade while trying to remove old tape, cut pretty deep too.
Here it is completed, may cut it at a later date. If compared with a clean part of the car, it does look right. Thanks for the help guys.

I'll give her a wash tomorrow hopefully, then we'll see how it looks. Plus I haven't cut it yet, so that might make all the difference.

Definatly doesn't look a good color match (sorry!). Are you sure the paint was mixed (shaken) enough?
Did you get the paint custom mixed into a spray can? Given the cost you quoted, one could assume so - I would be asking for a replacment.. A tip for spraying in cooler conditions is to sit the spray can in hot water for 5 mins before shaking it up for a least the recommended 2 mins - good gloss "of the gun" is very acheivable particularly if you warm the part to be sprayed in the sun or near a heater for awhile. One thing to note - over time, painted plastic body parts tend to change color slightly and if you respray an adjacent part the differnce is very noticable.
