actually a 3in supercheap pod makes twice the noise as the simota oiled pod at above 3000rpm. The $25 pod sounded like it was getting starved from air at wide open throttle.

To be honest the simota 3.5in pod produces the same noise as the k&n panel filter. This suprised me as well. It just feels like the car is breathing easily...........as you accelerate down the road......
