My auto makes a strange sound (sometimes) when I nail it and it kicks back to 1st gear, it's like a whirring sound what could it be?

i'd like to say a TURBO?????
but i doubt it, pretty normal sound really. disapponting the noise doesnt always get followed up by a real gush of power

my el and ef did this, uncles xf did to but louder.
they all do it, not sure why. any gearbox guru's know? |
