My dads Au2 has water looking into the boot whenever it rains or he washes it. Is this a common problem with the Au's?

Ive had a look and can see water marks coming down from the screws which hold on the number plate surround. I was just going to plug it up with sealant. this sound right or should i be looking for something else.

usuall drama is around the spoiler mounting holes
allow water into the actual boot lid! :(

get in the boot with a torch and get ya dad with a hose to lay water all over the boot and see if u can find the hole!

no worries

yes! open boot look to left or right of lid and u can see the mounting nuts
u may just need a new mounting kit from ford $75 or so
which gives u some new seals etc

my au2 leaks water into the boot (suprised my amp hasnt sh^t itself yet)

the problem on mine could be that the rear windscreen rubber seal has warped on the side and caused the join at the bottom in the middle to come apart.

does anyone know any places that will replace the rear windscreen at a reasonable price?

cheers
