About the EL Predator...
It was a supercharged i6 on gas and i dont think there was a fuel tank underneath
All it had i think is the gas tank in the boot.
Thats why they could have a dual exhaust setup

Is the rear end of the BA that much different to the AU and EL/EF, other then being much flatter then the AU boot. Yet the BA has enough room to have a quad pipe setup at the bumper?

BA has a different fuel tank setup. The floor of the boot is totally different to an AU as well.

Yeh im sure it had just ythe custom tank in the boot and was straigh gas...or had a small cell for fuel underneath with much lower capcity just for starting...allowing more room for the exhaust to fit.
