Obvious things first. Are all connections on dizzy hooked up? Is coil HT plugged back in. If everything physically looks right you're half there.

Next what does it sound like when you crank. Does it try and start (maybe wet dizzy) or does it cough and backfire (180 degrees out).

So spray a truck load of WD40 on/in and around the dizzy. If no luck pull dizzy and make sure it is installed right. Now I can't remember on EB's but you will either have a dizzy that can only go in one of two ways or a dizzy that can go in every which way it pleases. First one is easy it is either right or 180 degrees out, so pull it out and spin it 180 and put it back in.

The other first make sure you are on TDC. Pull dizzy and line up rotor on the cut out in the dizzy housing near the clip at the approximate No 1 position. Slide dizzy into position. As it slides into position the rotor will move back into the right position. Done.

Hope this helps some what.

If you're 100% that all wiring is OK, then it is most likely the TFI module is FUBAR. Realistically the dizzy is all you touched, so in theory it is the only componant that could have failed. You could be a very unlucky SOB and another componant could have gone out in simpathy but that really shouldn't be the case.

Check that you have 12V going to the coil with ignition on. See if you have spark at the coil HT lead. If it is not zapping but the coil has 12V then it is your TFI. Either get a new one or a dizzy from the wreckers.

cheers
Scott

Tke your distributor out and reline it up again. You must be a tooth or even maybe a couple of teeth out. There should be a small amount of room between the harness and the throttle body.

Have you warmed up the engine and checked/adjusted the timing??Check timing first then if still doesnt look and perform right,i would suggest realining the distributor again.
