Hello

I had my fuel injectors ultrasonically cleaned (off-car) last week. Ever since the clean my car has been drinking a phenomenal amount of fuel.

Has anyone ever encountered this before?

Maybe before it was running lean cos the injectors were gummed up? :? So now it is using the normal amount of fuel

sorry not sure then, maybe less s**t in the way so more fuel get in the motor

maybe disconnect the ecu and let it reset? or the oxy sensor may be a bit shagged?

Hi
What I did is disconnect the battery for 10 mins the comp reset and it's Ok now and when the injector are playing up I put injector cleaner +Octaine Booster
Try it U will be pleasantly suprise

Angel.....calm down with the posts mate.

well thats odd to hear that ur fuel comp went off the charts after getting them cleaned. im using a lot of fuel at the moment and i need my injectors cleaned but i just cbfed. so i thought of changing the O2 sensor and now its using less fuel. still waiting to run it in properly to see how it goes

let me know once u find out whats up.

I don't know what happen all I did press enter ounce but came out in three entries. Injectors has to regularly cleaned and don't forget the main fuel filter also has to be changed every 70.000 kilometer and you are right about oxygen sensor.
LPG Injection is available now 10 to 30 kilowatt extra by using vapour injection.

does it take time for O2 sensors to be run in. Ive changed mine and am using heaps more feul 300 per tank 75L the DTE reads what the?
