That sounds like one small o-ring msman. How do you gut the centre? Anyone know the size and thread of the gas fitting that fits?

Hey Disco Frank, the o-ring would just block thread not the actual housing though wouldnt it, so replacing it would be the same as using sealant tape. I'm not sure if mine is leaking from the thread or the housing. If it is the thread then it may be just be the o-ring. Who stocks these anyone know?

the o-ring was just lying around in the shed.
break as much plastic as you can and then drill out the rest. the oring used on the switch can either be bought from ford or if a general size will fit take the switch to repco/autopro and match it up. to check whether its leaking from the thread or internally, clean it all up, start car/go for drive to get the oil out again, remove plug if there is oil on connections its leaking internally = new switch.

after going through 2 pressure switches (leaking) i just plugged mine up, used a 10mm fine thread greese nipple packed with devcon, never leaked after that!!! and never noticed the difference. from memory i think i had to bridge the wires, so tha ECU could get into 'highway leam mode'
