I'm looking to get one of these units, Pioneer AVH-P5750DVD (http://www.pioneer.com.au/products/car_ ... index.html), in the next few months, I think my cost price was around $1,250.00. If there any other brands or anything that are superior in this price range that I should consider?

I've got the 7650 (superceeded by the 7850 now), a great system. The 5750 would've been good, but it didn't do 5.1 output.

That's fine. For me it was worth it (and I got a great deal).
