well i honestly don't know.....but my petrol consumption is at 19L/100km so i was like.....what the heck ill just buy a new one. i tried to do the diagnostic thingy but my home made system never worked. so i just bought a new one. lets just hope the fuel eco is better after i install it tomorrow. If it doesn't well then i know for sure that its not the O2 sensor and that i have a new one =D

but u can use the multi meter to see if there is a voltage change. considering i don't have a multi meter i couldn't check it and to buy one was the price of an O2....so i just bought a new O2.

phong =P~

EDIT: Oh and my car has done 180000km and i don't think it has ever been replaced....and it was loosly fitted to the exhaust manifold which im suspecting that the previous owner had extractors or such on the car and removed that and just chucked the stock things back on but not properly.

job done, bought two new ones, my car used to run rich on the left bank, the reason... o2 sensor not connected from factory. two new in car runs smooth as and economical aswell. COST. $73 each from carlec on Semaphore Rd Adelaide. easy to install no dramas, apparently supposed to be changed about every 80,000 kms. at 130,000 i thought it was due.
Just plug and go.

boys my cars done 173000kms since i bought it, and havent chnaged the o2 sensor. My fuel effieciency is about 10-11 on only freeway, and 13-14 on normal driving 100kms. Would a change of the 02 sensor improve these figures. Also the motor got reconditioned recently, so it should be running very fuel efficient i assume. Do these fiugures sound right for a reco motor? I drive like a granny by the way!
