Hey,
OK to top off one of the worst days of my life last night i was driving home giving her a bit and i go to change gears, i push the clutch and i hear a snap!! i think what the f**k have i done now as previously my clutch pedal had broken my pedal box and had eaten away at it as the pedal wasn't going in and out straight but at an angle lol basically the pole that the pedal rotates on had come out of its hole and bent backwards but that was all fixed and i got home last night and checked everything and everything looks fine, nothings snapped off that i can see. It just works, i have a little bit of clutch and the pedal is really stiff have to push it pretty hard to get anything but yeah its just not coming back to its usual position aswell. HELP!! cheers |

It sounds like you have broken the clutch cable except that would not allow you to disengage the clutch at all. I think that the cable may have broken the firewall and pulled through. Check your firewall where the clutch cable comes through.

If the pedal box, cable and firewall are all ok then the problem must be inside the housing. Problem could be something like a collapsed thrust/release bearing or broken diaphram spring fingers. Recheck all external components and then plan on removing gearbox and clutch housing.
