My bro wants to upgrade his standard BA XR6 (auto) open wheeler to an LSD.
Can anyone tell me the ratio of it.
He's also looking at getting one out of a manual BA XR6 or XR8. Are they the same ratio?

nah different ratio AFAIK... also its not the easiest job to remove the diff from a BA

its more so to do with teh splines on the driveshafts / diff
xr6 is 28 spline - xr8 and xr6turbo are 31 spline from memory

So you would need to change driveshafts as well!

Easier to try and find a xr6 center that is lsd already - you have to drop the whole crossmember to get to it also!
