Hey guys,
Ive recently had my engine rebuilt, but am having problem (only minor) with the head setup. My cam specs are:
Camlift.256"
Valve Lift.512"
Duration at .050" 242 degrees
Lobe centreline (max lift) 105

This cam was in my old setup, but due to weak valve springs, she cracked a spring and threw a valve (fun.)
Im now running Crow springs (double row) and retainers.
Can anyone see a problem with this set up? No matter what oil i use, i just cant seem to shut up a couple of lifters!! She's making good power, and loads of good throttle response, but the clicking is driving me crazy. Any suggestions?

if regrind - is it shimmed up right?

otherwise clean or replace the noisy lifter

Yeah but i've only done like 5000km's on this new engine, and my builder wont touch it anymore. I have a feeling the head wasn't machined right. It had 20 hours of machining done to it, since then its never been the friggen same.

new engine or rebuilt?

If rebuilt, they rarely touch the lifters.

If its a regrind, it needs to be shimmed up enough to bring the HLA's withing there normal range or they will tick.
