i want to put a cat back 2.5 system on the ute but a lot of the ones i've heard sound raspy/tinny...experimented with a xr6 turbo system a while back..sounded just right at idle and low speed but highway speeds blew me out the cab...don't know if the carryboy amplified it or not but i guess the twin pipes were a bit too big ! i used to have a great system on my eb wagon...2.5 with straight thru mercury muffler and no resonator...nice burble around town and quiet on the highway but cant seem to match it with 24v motor. has anyone struck gold with a good system?

Gee, no one done a good sports system on a BA? I realise this question has probably been asked a zillion times but it would be great to get some feedback...

hey mate, here is a clip of a BA i6 with:
- Pacemaker Competition Headers - 3-inch high velocity merge into 3 inch metal substrate cat - G&D mild steel 2.5-inch mandrel bent cat back utilising straight through high flow muflers. http://members.optusnet.com.au/rm2005/E ... 0Sound.AVI I too have a similar setup however am gonna replace the rear muffler with a hotdog soon as its too quiet.
