Are you doing a manual conversion?

What sort of upgrade where you after.....do you mean like a custom tune?

CAPA has a product now to edit the factory computer with the same SCT Advantage software used to do custom tunes on the AU/BA/BF's.

Haltech Interceptor is a laptop programable that plugs in like a piggy back so you retain your original equipment but have full tunability. It is a good alternative to an edit. you should check out their web site

Do these programable piggy backs work on wild ones as well, or only mild ones :?:

Go to their site and check but you send them the engine details and they load a generic program to get it running and then you put it on a dyno and get an engine tuner to tune it. You would have to run it all by them at Haltech to see if it would suit your needs, I'm not sure.
Here is the link

P.S. You can get them cheaper than directly through haltech if you shop around

Talk to Pete (xr9ute on here). He deals in twEECer units, which act very similarly to piggy back units, but you can fully tune the ECU. Not all EL ECUs are compatible, but if you give him the catch code, its a good start.

He is currently working on decding my EF one so that I can get a twEECer in the near future (hopefully).
