Also i was looking through the technical documents and saw that the illumination behind the arial and rear dimister switch as blue, im assuming its either a t5 or t10 led if i was to change them as well? can anyone confirm this?

the blobes behind the demister and aerial buttons are even smaller ones. You will not be able to get T5's behind those. They are more like 3mm bulbs. Not sure if you can get leds to suit. Damn..! I wonder if they are available at all. I wish to do mine too.

4.5mm but only have a 6mm wide body. Replacement (clear) incandescents are available from Narva but they dont appear to have LEDs to suit..

Yep you are right. I just removed it and measured it. Its 4.5mm. However, i did a little experiment and removed the button and placed a coloured filter behind it and believe it or not.....problem solved. it lights up beautifully. simple but effective little mod.
I am happy now.

Geeez...! This give a new meaning to the saying....Where there's a will, there's a way.

What resistor did you use for that task. Can you just stick in a 12volt led from d**k smiths? Would that work, or do you need to add a resistor?

its not to hard and yes i like to fiddel with leds and s**t, i think the 12v ones would work as long as the globe size is no bigger, i just use a Resistors 560 Ohm on a 3.6V led from d**k smith

the clock yes but if you want to do the lcd screen you need to remove the orange filter and put white paper there not sure aircon but it wont work for climat control and there bigger globes but you could cut the wires and put normal leds in there
