Nice pics there. Are those inserts on the grey one black timber? If so, gives me a couple of ideas. Also love the look of the ltd rear bench. Gonna have to try to find one for the new car lol.

Alll of those (and any df/dl ltd) interiors will be in cappa, not grey - but it looks close to grey there lol!
The wood is very dark indeed but still brown, its a mahogany style instead of the ghias grain style..
Looks pretty smart in the flesh.

Yeah, they look grey in the pics lol. Thinking that a grey leather interior might look good with the wood trims done in a gloss black finish along with the cluster surround/stereo surround etc.....

Yer, i rekon if done in a nice gloss itd look great too.
Kind of makes me think of thw "sports" woodgrain BMW used to or still use..
More of a silvery/black gloss woodgrain, v nice.

Sounds similar to the EL GT interior...of course not with 'black woodgrain' (is there such a thing??). Personally, I like the DF/DL LTD interior...but I prefer the EF/EL woodgrain - the mahogany swirly woodgrain doesn't do it for me so much.

I reckon a subtle carbon fibre look would be a nice look in an XR or something...ie EL XR with :

* All woodgrain bits covered / converted (somehow?) to carbon fibre - including :
- Door Trim Woodgrain
- Gear Selector Woodgrain
- Radio Surround Woodgrain (EL GT, DL LTD)
* Chrome highlights (door handles, s**t selector button if AUTO, handbrake button)
* Leathered XR Seats

All the sportiness of an XR, but with the class of high series luxuries aka LTD. Hmm, methinks an EL GT should have been made more like the EL predator to make it classy and not tacky

I'm done now :D

I'd have to agree, even though I basically worship the EL GT the interior seems way too "Fairlaneish" for what is supposed to be a performance car.
I still would kill for one :)

Yer, in theory your right, but having sat in an el gt i can tell you now the seats and driving position make for a sporty feel - plus the black trim with dark wood isnt "in your face" luxury like ghias n all, its very subtle IMHO even tho sticks out in pics like dogs bits, another case of a picture not telling the whole story.
