dont know about the e-series but the most other cars iv'e come across seats bolts have able to be cut off underneath the car. Why aren't the e-series accesible from underneath?

I'm pretty sure if you have ABS, they're going to want to see it working... or more to the point, they're not going to want to see the "ABS is f**k" light flashing...

no the abs relay aint there so it don't show up on the dash but if you put the relay in it comes up on the dash...

the bolt is munted in the head, if oyu put the tool in it just goes round don't have enough to grip. but yeah i'd thoguht of cutting the sides of bolt off and jsut using a wrench or something to unscrew it.

couldn't find that auto trimmer in ossy park for the seat. got some covers though...

does any one know of a place to get power window fixed? my back window got ripped off the track, (it just goes up and down isn't held in place except with a screw...)

i guess i'll find out weather it's worth spending lota $$ on it after i take it over first time, other wise i might just have to by a stocker eb and then transfer all the good bits over to that....

this situation is getting more daunting...

buy a new window reg for it, yours is probably more than likely stuffed. or if you just want to get it over the pits, ring the wreckers, theyre about 50 bucks.

true, but the regulator aitn' the current problem.

it's the fact that some one ripped it off the track, it got stuck down and i asked a mate to gently pull it up while i pressed the button, but instead he thoguht it was comming up so he yanked it hard and he ripped it off the track, so it just fell down, so i have to but a screw underneath the door trim to hold it in place.

i've tried to get it back on but there isn't much room to play with can barley fit my hand in there, i think i have to drill out the pop rivets and then play with it, but i don't want to do that, i just wondering if i can take it to a place that can deal with it for me.

I pulled this off the DPI site

Quote:
The examination to re-register the vehicle is exactly the same as the examination to clear a defect notice.

I think that means they do a full look over the car, not just clear what's on the defect notice...

Go in on a friday, 15 mins before they're due to shut. They might wanna get out on time and rush through it ;-)

Just don't go in on a Monday morning bright and early :D
