Guys,
I find this yellow foam type material underneath the rear of both front seats. I imagine that the seat foam is hardening and starting to break up? If this is the case can the seats be redone,ie new inside without replacing the covers, which aren't at throw away stage just yet. Thanks in advance. Regards, Gary. |

is it happening often? unless its really bad, i wouldnt worry about it.
but you can swap the covers on your seats over to other xr seats if need be.

Hi Mash,
Yeah, well I only notice it really, when I vacuum the mats and seats. As I say the foam is under the front seats, so as the driver I tend not to pay too much attention to the rear floor. The seats are still comfortable, but it is handy to know that the internal seat can be re-trimmed without having to replace the actual seat cover cloth, as well. Thanks. Regards, Garf. |

My dad's Fairmont had a minor case of this too, but only the driver's seat.
And my driver's seat gather the foam around the two knobs on the side, but it's easily vacumed up.
