Hey everybody

My BA futura needs some more oomph in the music department. I've already got the equipment lying around from my old car, but I dont know what would be the best way to get good sound out.

I'm keeping the stock speakers for now. I've got a 4 channel and a sub waiting to be put in. But I dont know what I should connect to the amp. Which option would sound the best?

-Amp front and rears and not use the sub
-Amp front and sub
-Amp rears and sub

I'm not really in the know when it comes to car audio, so I dont know whether I can run front, rears and sub from a 4 channel amp without overloading something (especially the ICC, im terrified of stuffing that thing up...)

2 channels of the amp to the front speakers, and 2 bridged for the sub woofer.

see now id go the other way and amp the rears and sub so you can cross over the sub and hpf the rears then run fronts full range off the hu, but thats just me

if you have a powerful sub, dedicate as much power as you can to the sub, depending on you amp/sub combination, i would use the amp just for the sub (2-ohm?) and then run the front and rears directly from the deck, keep in mind that you wont need alot of power running to your front and rear speakers becuase you will be using them for high frequency sound, the sub will give you your bass.... it all really depends on the specs of your sub/amp and what type of music you listen to (music like rap and drum and bass require alot of sub power) if you wanna get technical u should also check what Ohmage youll be crankin if you run the sub and 2 speakers on the same amp.

all in all it shouldnt make a huge different unless your an audiophile and run powerful equipment.

Amp the fronts and the sub and ditch the rears....Thats if you want it to sound good, if you just want loud amp the rears and the sub.....

sif.... alround treble sounds good.... wish i had a sub in my engine bay so i could have alround bass too...
