The Handle doesn't just come out, it has to be unbolted. And even if I did that you couldn't pump it with so little leverage. By the time you f**k about doing s**t like that, its easier & quicker to just jack up one side then the other.

mm right o my handle just sits in there and is twisted half a turn to lock it in. but if yours doesnt do that than I see your point. Although you'll find its not that hard to ger a jacke to in compress ur springs by hand its when it take the full weight one the wheels of the ground that it gets to be a bit much

Bringing up an old post again
Just wondering what point i should jack up the car on each side if i wanted to do each side individually? e.g. rather than jacking it up from the diff.

I jack mine up from the standard jacking points, ie from the sills just behind the front wheels and just infront of the rear wheels. Then I place the axle stands on the chassis rails just in from those points.

The scissor jack seems to have a little hole (about 3cm long) where it slots into position.
However as the hydraulic jack has a flattish round base it wouldnt be suitable for that part i wouldn't think, or maybe its different with the side skirts on? I'll get under tommorow and have a look.

My trolley jack has a round 'dished' top to it. I use it on the jacking points without a problem.
Don't go jacking off the side skirts.
