hey guys
just purchased an ef and everything is going well, except the little button to the left of the steering wheel for the central locking doesnt work, any ideas why? |

check if its plugged in
also put an ohmmeter across the pins on the switch with it unpluged and check to see that the switch works (should be Open circuit/high resistence when not pressed, and closed circuit/low resistance when pressed) |

some people unplug them for security reasons means you can leave the window down a lil bit and not worry about people poking a wire in to trigger the button

dunno about yours but after 30 mins all my electrics turn of. like if i leave the door open the lights turn off after 30 mins and the boot pop and door lock stop to |

anyone who can make a rod to reach the button in the middle of the car can also make a rod to pull the other side interior door handle which will unlock the car
