I've made up a new front bezel to go in the tissue box slot. It has got the carputer on / off button, the ICC screen toggle button, the power led and an infrared transceiver in it.

I've never used fibreglass before, so it was quite a steep learning curve for me. It worked out OK though - but only just OK. I plan to make a new one when I have the time. Anyway, time for pics

wow....looks quiet good actually being ur first time with fibreglass...ive never worked with it either so when i do my interior stuff i see how well i go =D

yea pretty good effort for the first time use.

i just finished using some actually.... im makin some tweeter pods that go on the door sails bit.

I also smoothed over the fairmont badge on the little dash bit too. All for me ef of course.

How many layers did you end up using to make that?

you should get some tinted plexiglass to cover the infrared transceiver

Only 2, I thought it would take more to make it strong, but it is a strong as hell with only 2 layers

Yeah, I had a piece but it was too small. I'll have to steal one from a remote control
