dude 200rwkw don't mean s**t

if you have a turbo you should have a turbo timer
if it 100kw or 500kw better for your car

Hey Nik! Yeah what he said. We have turbo timers on all the turbo'd tractors out at work. Lets the turbo cool down so the oil in them when turned off hot doesn't coke them up. Worth the investment. I think the ones we use at work are around 70 bucks and have three settings.

My mrs used to work at a servo and if you tried to fill up without turning your car off whe wouldn't authorise the pump until the car is off. So with the timer you would either have to turn it off or look like an idiot and sit there till it turned it off for you  .
Check REPCO and places like that. Think thats where ours come from.

bogaard are the ones i used to fit to excavating equipment. they're pretty good, and do the job.
they have 6 settings and an override button.
they're distributed from NSW somewhere, i think it's Ballina.

yeah spot on, it's only really an issue any way if your running a non bearing turbo as when the engine turns of the oil leaves the turbine housing therefore spinning without oil, if you drive it nice and easy before you plan to fill up won't be a hassle.

what if you get somewhere and you can't wait 2mins?
if you have a timer you can get out and let it handle it

IMO they are a good additioan to the vehicle despite their legallity.

Aournd $120 for most of the popular brands on the market. I run one and it works well and saves the hassle of waiting around.
