Location: melbourne
VIC, Australia

after installing my shift kit, i go to start up my car and it dosent start. i checked all the wires on the ecu and their all connected properly.
as soon as you turn the key and try to start everything dies and lights start flashing. i checked when starting the car the wires also connected to the battery also spark.
does any one no what the problem is and how to fix it, all ready tried the search.

Bad connections at the battery mate. Pull em off and clean em up! 8-)

still doesn't work
when i first attach the negative wire then the positive it sparks and the electrics work but all the power dies out as soon as i try to start the car and the lights flash on and off and a ticking sound comes....
any one got an idea

i know its been said, but make sure the battery terminals are TIGHT! i was working on mine once and didnt have them tight enough and that happened to me.

Yeh dude the clicking noises is the starter trying.....charge the battery and she will kick over first go :P

problem fixed. wat happend was the terminals were dirty and then i drained the battery reapedidly tring to start the car. thanks

yeh i remember when i first got my au and got a flat battery and that happend... i thought it was somethin to do with the imobolizer...
