I need a bit of advice out there in regards to what size socket is needed to remove the bolt that holds the harmonic balancer on the I6.
I know I have to remove the radiator, fan shroud & fan-clutch assembly to gain access to the the bolt & then use a gear puller to pull off the old balancer. I just need to know what size socket I will need to loosen the bolt. Thanks in advance.

Considering I've just walked in from rebuilding a motor in the garage, I can definately say its 22mm.

if you need to ask these questions you probably shouldn't be doing the work yourself. go to a shop and ask to try one on the bolt itself because i have found that different brands of sockets fit very different. more expensive sets fit alot better.
