Hwedy, just wondered will a EF/EL radiator Suit AN ED ford because one of me friends is wrecking an ef ford. if so do i need to modify the radiator and do i need adaptors or not. if so what type and will an ef overflow bottle suit an ed ford if some look the same as an ed ford and how much do ed radio harness sockets and fujitsu radio harness plugs cost to buy seperate ED Harness plugs and Fujitsu radio plugs please. if i buy one from the wreckers or ebay and it says Tested Working, No Security Code, Great Condition does that mean you have to put the code in to activate it or not. (just out of interest)

with the fujitsu ten radios (Model Number: 86100-YC140) do you have to
enter the security code to activate that model or not because thats my biggest concern before i buy one and will the company that made the radios give out the security codes if i bought one on ebay or a wrecker or from a second hand shop please give me a straight answer. i look foward to your reply

i would say with the radiator it may fit, but your also better off getting the thermo fans off it too mate, and get rid of the friggin clutch fan

The radaitor will bolt in. However the bottom hose size is differant.

As for the radio. No manufacture is going to give out security codes without some sort of proof of ownership.

Next time create 2 threads and put the radio question in the correct forum.

Thanks For Your time, how much am i looking at to get the security codes cancelled with special machines and what are the macines that cancel the codes and can i also do it myself if the radio said features a security code but no security code does one still have to put it in to activate it if i bought one from the wreckers would they have the security code or not how would i be able to activate the code if i bought one due to someone else upgrading to a cd player. also with the radiator how do we make the bottom hose fit an ed ford instead of an ef ford and will the rest fit even though it will bolt in to an ed ford

unless your using the radio for a specific purpose, can it and go buy yourself a nice aftermarket headunit..they arent too pricey these days for something that will "do the job"

or you can use it as justification to spend up on a really nice deck :)

howdy you know how you say the ef radiator will bolt in to an ed ford but the bottom hose is different and to take the thermo fans as well, with the radiator how do we make the bottom hose fit an ed ford instead of an ef ford and will the rest fit even though it will bolt in to an ed ford. if so do we need adaptors to adapt the ef fitting to suit an ed ford and will fitting an ef radiator in to an ed ford mess up the cooling system or will that be ok. i look foward to your reply. thanks for your time. anyway with the radio i might see what cash converters have got

Get an ED radiator. Don't be stuffing around trying to make hoses fit.
If your intention is to use EF thermo fans then make sure the ED radiator has the captive nuts in the top of the tanks for the fans to mount on. And before you ask, most of them do. I managed to do this with an EA.
