I'm sure you all know them, those little bastards that hold the plastic cover over the headlights/bonnet latch? Long story short I had to get 3 of them off, and pretty much broke them off to get the plastic cover off. How are you actually supposed to get them off, the thread of the screw spins in the holder but but it dosent come out?!

And on the topic, whats good to replace them, can you get them from Fraud?

Cheers!

you can sometimes just unscrew them. otherwise try prying them out with a small flat blade screwdrivew while you unscrew them.

you can get them from Ford, they are around $2.50 each

If you look closely at them thay are not actually threaded. Just a series of fine barbs to hold them in. Rip them out and don't re-use them buy new ones everytime.

Because generally they are f**k once they come out. Yes somethimes I have re-used them when I haven't got new ones to put in. However I recommend not to be so tight and buy new ones where possible.
