hi guys,
a lil while ago i posted a topic on here asking what people would think my car would put out with the mods i have on there. the current mods are: 2.5" exhaust, Pacemaker extractors, K and N Panel Filter, EL GT Intake.

well yesterday i finally got the chance to get it on there and before people get sceptical about the results let me tell you something. 2 days before, they had a VX S-Pack on there and it made a total of 118rwkw without the air filter. so if anything it may have more there i dont know.

anyway, now i know this, my next pursuit for power is to make the 150 mark. im planning to put a mild crow cam, spark plugs/leads and run it on premium just to see how close i can get to the target. other than that, i might do up the intake as well.

the sheet shows 3 runs. the top one is 136rwkw with the filter in. the next is without the airfilter and the airbox open, the lowest is with the engine at about 4000-4500rpm. anyway, im happy witht the result and i wanted to share it with everyone out there that it isnt hard to get power just choose your mods.

Figures coming soon

Next step is probably a nice exhaust or stage 2 stereo.

the fact that you mention that a vx s ran a 118rwkw puts it in perspective and all makes sense to me as that seems way to healthy for a vx unless it was modded.

before this gets out of hand, dyno's are a tuning tool only and only good for comparisons with other people on dyno days when everyone is using same dyno on same day.

at least it shows that your engine is fairly healthy.

hahahah... I remember your original post asking for people to quote figures they thought you would get...

I'd love to have EB V8 see this thread now.

http://www.fordmods.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=31572&highlight=

I remember quoting 140rwkw... Was only 4rwkw off. But smack in my revised area of 135 to 140rwkw. :D

Thanks for letting us know what you got... Starts to confirm suspicions about certain dynos.
