Hey all,

Will an AU 2 manual shift knob fit an EL manual stick?

i.e. will they both have the same stick thread?

URGENT (in next 5 mins) ANSWER NEEDED!

Cheers.

Thanks guys ...just scored an AU 2 leather knob on ebay for $85 (Ford RRP $190!)

I actually outbid 'kingkezza' on this one ...whoops.

He's just confirmed that it will fit onto my EL no probs, ...what a guy!

Surely does fit. I got a black leather AU gearknob on both my E series XRs. Man they look great.

On a side not.....Mark how much did BPT charge to fit your quick shifter?

All good mate....saw that on there. I had a brand new one available for $60 a few weeks ago. Black/greys are very hard to get now. Can still get all black but other colours have become scarce.

Hmmm ...I didn't know the black & greys were hard to find.

It was the genuine Ford AU2 leather knob, but don't know if it's a MOMO one, unless MOMO were making them for Ford ...hope so.

Also picked up a Black EL GT shift boot today ...only $40, unbelievably cheap direct from FRAUD!

yer...black are still easy, but colours are hard.

Momo makes all this stuff for Ford and many others.
