to cut a long story short, i need to get the little metal clips off the back of the woodgrain **attached to door trim** how the hell do i get them off :twisted:

mate, had the same problem. however, i exercised a more brutal tactic and cut the metal clips off. leaving a stump so that it would still locate back into the holes but not stay there, i used a small dab of adhesive sealer type stuff and it stayed in.

tried and tried but those damn little clips are stubber as.

im thinking of sticking it to the door trim....... when i put it back on... cause only time im going to want to take it off is if i re-trim them... so it wont really matter.

i've done the same thing - cut those bastard plugs off, and glue it back on :)
